What is happiness?

This question had been posted to me a few times before, and it popped up too in the recent GP promo paper.

Quite unexpectedly, i found my answer.

Happiness is not all the wealth or the knowledge that i can accquire. It is neither the sunshine nor the rainbow. It is not all the fame or glory or love that money has to offer. It is definately not what any material possession has to give.

Happiness to me, is self-contentment and satisfaction.
It is not wealth or knowledge because the persuit of it is never-ending.
It is not the sunshine or the rainbow, but the rain in which i overcome with my loved ones.
It is not the fame or glory or love that money has to offer because it is only temporary.

I just want to lead a happy life with my loved ones. But in a complicated and materialistic world in which we live in, it's hard to even get close to leading a happy life.

So what is happiness to you?

Life, is an evitable rat race.

It is the survival of the fittest, the ruthless. But there is no such superlative for everything is relative.
One can never be the best, for there is always someone else who's better than him.
One can never produce the best technology, for technology is constantly advancing, making everything else obselete.

Yet, there is still this never-ending persuit of being the best.

I want to get out of this race, to just live a life of my own. But no matter how hard i try, i can not break free from this race which i am bound to - for life.
