On seasons

And when Spring arrives
In a rich velvet lain carriage
The flowers bloom
And the birds sing
To welcome
The arrival of their dear queen

And when Summer arrives
In all its golden glory
Its purple velvet cloak
Drapes round its people
Warming their hearts with
Bliss and joy

And when Autumn arrives
Crowned with leaves of gold
The monsoon bellows its trumpet
And the faeries dance to
Usher their queen
To her magnificent throne

But when Winter arrives
Immaculately pure and white
Her icy cold touch
Freezes the hands of time
All is cold and still
Unmoved and unloved
Just like the dead soul of
My heart.

Have you ever been dillusional?

Well, i once knew a girl named Lynda, and she was disillusioned.
She was a very pretty girl, with distinct grey, misty eyes that seemed to hide her soul
Her long flowing hair was as black as ebony, highlighting her pale complexion which was as white as snow.In school, she'd ace all academic exams, was the captain of the dance team, and mixed around with her elite group of friends. At work, she was a successful manager of a thriving business, and it was also where she met her wonderful husband.

One day, while crossing the road, she saw a car speeding in her direction. She thought that she could outrun the car and reach the other side safely and dashed across the road. Alas! The car rammed its front bonnet into her fragile frame, and she collapsed onto the road with her head cracked wide open. Her face fell apart and revealed only a plain jane of average features amidst the pool of crimson red. Her mystical grey eyes gave way to her soul as she realised with her last breath that whatever she once had, was only an illusion to hide her pathetic existence on earth. Like the blood that was oozing out of her body, so was her perfect life.

On the subject of dreams, do they really reflect one's subconscience mind?

When i fall into peaceful slumber, i live a different life from reality.
When i dream, i can lead a life where i can persue what i cannot in reality
To relive the opportunity costs and chances lost in reality
Where i am free of all the strings attached to me, suffocating me yet releasing me for quick and short breaths of air before tightening it's hold onto me- torture
Where i am finally happy.

But these are only transient, for i am thrown back into harsh reality when my eyes greet the world good morning once again.
