On Amys
She felt the pair of pliers, icy cold, clamped in her mouth, her tongue in between it's jaws. Staring straight into the mirror, she convinced herself that it's for the best. With all her might, she yanked her tongue out. A cocktail of blood and amylase gushed out. Staring at the piece of limp flesh still clamped tight in her tool, she smiled a crooked smile.
'Stop smiling, you're not there yet.'
She felt the pair of head clamp, icy cold, with her skull in between. Staring straight into the mirror, she convinced herself that it's for the best. With all her might, she cracked her head open. A stream of crimson red ran along the curvature of her face. Meticulously, she slit her lower cerebral cortex, so that she could extract out the devil from her head. Staring at the severed amygdala in her palm, she grinned from ear to ear.
'I'm there.'
Rid of her amygdala, and swimming in a pool of amylase, she could finally be herself again.
Her name, is Amy.
